The substantial design builds on the familiar masculine silhouette of classic Wellington frames, which were a popular choice for the biggest stars of post-war cinema. But, never one to choose the most obvious paths, Akoni’s design team explores new routes, adding a host of impressive new elements, including statement titanium temples, cleverly positioned so they appear to float within the laminated Japanese acetate temples.

How to Clean Glasses
